Assassin's Creed Shadows - Hibusе Fudo temple

Believe it or not, not every place in our game is drawn from the real world.😉
Some were created with great care and imagination to enrich the experience, and one such example can be found in Kii - a region where nature’s power is both awe-inspiring and unforgiving.

Hibuse Fudo Temple stands as a testament to this. Once a place of serenity, it fell victim to a devastating landslide, leaving behind only the skeletal remains of its former grandeur. Over time, nature reclaimed the ruins, weaving itself into what was left of the temple complex. But its story did not end there - rising hostile groups in the region saw an opportunity, transforming the forsaken site into a base of operations.

This location holds even deeper significance, tying into Yasuke’s personal journey. But rather than reveal too much, I’ll leave the rest for you to uncover as you explore the world we’ve crafted with passion and dedication. Hopefully you find as much interest and wonder in discovering its secrets as we did in bringing them to life.

This experience has been nothing short of remarkable - filled with admiration, deep respect, relentless dedication, and countless hours of learning and growth. But above all, it was driven by a collective pursuit of beauty and excellence.
